Lauren Laubenstein
Physiotherapist/Owner
Lauren is a licensed physiotherapist and the owner of Beverly Physiotherapy. She graduated with her Bachelor’s of Physiotherapy degree from the University of Manitoba in 2008. She has been working at Beverly Physiotherapy since 2008 and took over ownership of the clinic in 2014. Lauren obtained her license to practise acupuncture in 2009 after completing training with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. She has also taken a variety of other post-graduate courses. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, going to the lake and doing yoga.
Krishnaben Patel
Physiotherapist
Krishnaben, or Krishna as we usually call her, is a licensed physiotherapist at Beverly Physiotherapy. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Physiotherapy in India in 2017 and went on to work as a physiotherapist there. In 2018 Krishna immigrated to Ontario, Canada where she completed a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Georgian College. She later moved to Winnipeg where she completed a year long physiotherapy residency as part of the physiotherapy licensing process. In her spare time Krishna enjoys travelling, painting, reading and listening to music.
Brenda Liwanag
Massage Therapist
Brenda is a licensed massage therapist at Beverly Physiotherapy. She graduated from the massage therapy program at Robertson College in 2017 and has been practising at the clinic ever since. Brenda initially began working as a physiotherapy assistant at the clinic after emigrating from the Philippines in 2003. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, especially her daughter.
Rizza Cadet
Massage Therapist
Rizza is a licensed massage therapist at Beverly Physiotherapy. She graduated with her massage therapy diploma from Robertson College in 2022. She is a member of the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba and has also completed further certification in cupping therapy. Rizza first started working at the clinic as a physiotherapy aide in 2011. Prior to that she worked as a physiotherapist in the Philippines until she immigrated to Winnipeg in 2010. In her spare time, she enjoys reading books, watching movies and spending time with family.
Maria Zambrano Bobiles
Administrative Assistant
We commonly refer to her by her nickname Japz. Maria has been working as an administrative assistant at Beverly Physiotherapy since 2015. She immigrated to Winnipeg from the Philippines in 2004 and graduated from the Medical Office Assistant program at Herzing College. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and watching their basketball and volleyball games!
Maria De Los Reyes
Administrative Assistant
We call her Fritzie because having 2 Marias at the clinic is way too confusing! Fritzie has been working as an administrative assistant at Beverly Physiotherapy since 2017 after graduating from the Medical Office Assistant program at Robertson College. She immigrated to Winnipeg from the Philippines in 2009 where she worked as a Medical Transcriptionist with a degree in computer science. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, especially her children.
Fides Guerra
Physiotherapy Assistant
Fides has been working as a physiotherapy assistant at Beverly Physiotherapy since 2016. She immigrated to Winnipeg from the Philippines in 2016 where she worked as a physiotherapist. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, playing volleyball and spending time with her son.
